One recording, the right file for each app

TikTok, Reels and Shorts all play vertical 9:16 video, so that is ClippCut's default. For the Instagram and Facebook feed, 4:5 takes up more of the screen than a square; for YouTube and LinkedIn in a browser, 16:9 still fits best. Pick the shape before you record and the preview shows exactly what will be in the frame.

Every platform crops the bottom and right edges with its own buttons and caption. The safe-zone guide shades those areas while you record, and captions from your script are placed above them.

What makes a short video work

Start with the point, not a greeting: the first two or three seconds decide whether people keep watching. Keep to one idea, and end with one thing to do next. The script sheet checks your opening line and flags greetings, filler and hooks that take too long to say.
